How to Clean and Take Care of your Products

Keeping your product clean and safe is the best way to make it last.

*Keeping your fabric clean is important. Dirt, mildew, and other elements can damage or keep your product from looking it's best.

*Wash your fabric . For Vinyl fabric, use a cloth or soft brush that will not scratch.

*Using mild detergent is fine, however do not use anything harsh. Rinse well making sure all detergent is gone.

*Washing your fabric with clean water periodically is fine. It is best to do this when the weather is warmer.

*You may keep dust and other debris off your underside of awnings by simply using a broom.

*Keep trees, scrubs, and other greenery away from your fabric to prevent tears.

*Watch for staining of your fabric. If you notice any kind of stain, clean it immediately. If you have questions about stains, please feel free to contact us for our expert advice.

Fabric Don't

*If you have a removable product, be sure to roll the product up accordingly. Folding fabrics in cold weather is not recommended.

*Make sure that your fabric and product are not moved across any type of harsh surfaces that may damage the product.

*Be careful about what you spray near your product. For example, paint, insect sprays, and other chemicals can harm the fabric or may make it lose its water repellency.

*After precipitation, always remove any excess water, snow, or ice off your product. This keeps your product strong.

*If you find any rips or tears, contact us for repairs.

*Be careful about what you clean your product with. Harsh chemicals can sometimes cause damage. If you are unsure of how to wash or protect your product, contact us for guidance.

*All products should be arranged with care. Jerking, adjusting, and pulling should be done with caution. Products that are mounted on a dwelling can damage the exterior if pulled. Zippers, cords, and ropes can bust if you do not use care. If you have any questions or do not know how to arrange your product, contact us for more help. We would be glad to assist you.

*Avoid extreme heating, cooking, or use of smoke under products. The flames can damage your product and the smoke can harm the fabric.

*If you have a removable product make sure the product is dry and clean prior to placing it up for storage for the season. Mold and mildew can grow on fabrics if care is not taken.

*Keep debris, dirt, leaves, stems, branches, and other natural elements off of your awning. The weight can cause damage, tears, and stains.
